Well I have tryed all of the setting cobos have the same fps at 2560x2112 and 640x528 I really appreciate you all helping me If at both 2560x2112 and 640x528 you maintain the same FPS, then as previously mentioned you're likely being help back by a physical restriction. If your Framelimit is set to Auto and the 'Limit by FPS' box is unticked, then I'm afraid this goes beyond my scope of knowledge, as they are the only settings that should lock your FPS down like that. In light of the recent Chromebook posts I have decided to experiment with various Dolphin builds and different configurations to squeeze out the best possible performance on lower-end hardware. Everything here is variable, things will need to be tweaked to work well on your machine but this is a good place to start. For reference, the hardware I'm working with is listed at a value of $150-$200. And are nearly identical machines to what I am running. ( I paid $200 for mine years ago) I am using Dolphin 4.0-6554 for Netplay capability. There's good news and bad news. The bad news is that Melee Netplay isn't quite there yet, I'm hovering in the 45-50 FPS range. The good news is that on most tournament legal stages PM Netplay runs at 60 FPS. I am unfortunately not able to test this extensively yet because of my connection but I was getting good performance on Smashville, Battlefield, WarioWare and Final Destination. There's plenty more similar ones there, feel free to tinker with them and let me know which ones give good results. An interesting observation that I have made is my computer has had much more success emulating Wii hardware than GC hardware. I don't know much about the technical aspect of emulation but I wonder why this is the case? Here's an showcasing some of the performance capabilities on my machine. I will probably be updating this to add more information but I believe this is it for now. Here's to making Smash more accessible! Updates: You should also turn on fullscreen. In terms of Dolphin settings, you should turn on Use Fullscreen. Dolphin has a feature called Exclusive Fullscreen >which reduces GPU overhead to make it easier on the GPU.
